Substance 3D Designer
One of the great things of Substance 3D being part of the Adobe family, is that it opens a crazy amount of potential new integrations, which means that graphic designers can now take advantage of Substance 3D in their workflow. for example, last year we implemented Substance materials support within Photoshop, and recently (and still in beta), we made sure that Photoshop can also read Substance 3D filters (they are called parametric filters within Photoshop.

You can get the filter on my Substance 3D Community Assets page

Meanwhile, you can have at some artwork tests I made with the filter.

Note that while I specifically made this filter for Photoshop (and it should eventually be natively be implemented in the tool), it should also work smoothly with the other Substance 3D applications.
What does it mean for you? First that can have access to new, powerful and non-destructive filters (already some  great news 😎). But to me this is the tip of the iceberg: what's makes parametric filters unique is that you can now build your own custom filters using Substance 3D Designer!

Substance Designer is a cool graphic nodal tool, mostly known for material creation, but you can do way more stuff. And obviously, you can now create filters for Photoshop, which makes it accessible to people with non-programming background.  If you are new to it, I made and introduction session here:
I also made a special tutorial to explain how I made this filter in particular:
